Development of a control software for praxis4future of the North Rhine Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians

The Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of North Rhine (KVNO) wants to build an immersive world of experience at its locations in Düsseldorf and Cologne. Under the title "Praxis4future", medical practices will be shown the advantages of digitization for themselves, their practice staff and patients. In Düsseldorf, a separate room will be created for this purpose, while in Cologne an area in the reception area of the new building will be used. An LED wall (180° circular segment) will be erected at both locations, in the center of which a UHD touch table, with an interactive user interface, will be placed as a central control system. The LED wall and the touch table are each played by a separate player. The two feed computers are connected to each other via their own network.

In Düsseldorf, a separate room will be created for the praxis4future world of experience. The LED wall is designed in the form of a 180° circular segment. The visitor stands in the center at a touch table with the control elements. Additional workstations for in-depth advice are available.

The content of this award procedure is the development of an interactive presentation software for praxis4future for the Cologne and Düsseldorf locations in accordance with the detailed descriptions in the tender documents.

The requirements of the two locations differ. This must be taken into account in the implementation. The software solution to be developed should be able to be used for both locations and must be as flexibly configurable as possible in order to map all requirements for both locations. This applies to the different resolutions and sizes of the LED surfaces, but also to the reproduction of sound and the integration of peripherals and network settings. These parameters should not be permanently integrated into the program code, but should be configurable via configuration data.

For the future, it will then be possible to develop further in a single application and new functions and extensions do not have to be implemented twice (Cologne and Düsseldorf separately). With the use and experience, functions could also be activated in Cologne that are initially only intended for Düsseldorf. The project is planned for the long term and is to be iteratively realized, implemented and expanded in the future. Future performance requirements not yet included in this service description shall be commissioned in writing by the client as part of a change request procedure. The bidder submits corresponding hourly rates (project management, software developer and software architect) as part of his bid.

The following information and files are provided by the client:

- All shared content (monolingual / german) - All approved teaser animations - All elements from the animations (rooms, people, objects) - All sound files (speech, possibly noises, possibly music, possibly background music) - Interface documentation for all required interfaces - PPT master document with all necessary elements as chapters for export to the handout to the visitors.

A specification sheet for the complete programming must be drawn up in advance and submitted to the client for approval. The basis of the specifications is the content of this bill of quantities, as well as all finished storyboards and interactive elements and the required data connections to third-party systems. There will be an initiative workshop after the contract has been awarded. Corrections are to be expected in the creation and release of the specifications. Only after the approval of the specifications by the client's project manager can programming begin
