The Governor of Svalbard invites to an open tender contest where the objective is to enter into a framework agreement with one supplier for purchase of official vehicles. The framework agreement shall ensure that the Governor of Svalbard's requirements for new official vehicles in the agreement period, are met. The Governor of Svalbard requests tenders for passenger car with five seats with sufficient space in the category family cars, pickup with five seats and delivery truck/combination vehicle with five seats. Tenders can be given on vehicles with both petrol and diesel engines.

It is vital that the agreement ensures efficient solutions for delivery of new vehicles as well as local access to service repair shops in Longyearbyen It is a condition that the agreement includes option for part exchange of existing official car to market value if this is requested by the contracting authority.

It is estimated that there is a requirement to purchase approx. 11 vehicles during the agreement period.
