The contract has as its object the anti-ice treatment service (spreading of rock salt and/or antifreeze products) and snow clearing and related and consequent preventive activities to be carried out in the period from 1 December to 14 March of the winter seasons 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.

The objectives of entrusting the service in question are:

- allow traffic and safety on roads, squares, public areas, walkways and cycle-pedestrian paths;

- allow accessibility and evacuation in school complexes and in some public buildings;

- safeguard public safety as a result of the possible fall of roofed tiles, tiles, ice sheets due to the melting of snow and ice and the presence of branches or trees which, due to snow or frost, have become a hindrance to traffic or constitute a danger to citizenship in public areas of the territory.
