Sametinget would like quotations for a general text-to-speech system for the nordsamisk language. The system shall work on Windows, MacOSX and Linux.

The delivery terms: a general text-to-speech system for the nordsamisk language for Windows a general text-to-speech system for the nordsamisk language for MacOSX a general text-to-speech system for the nordsamisk language for Linux.

The above text-to-speech systems shall be available for three different types of user groups:

Individual users.

Business customers.

Developers.

The contract also includes the following items:

Adapting the HFST and vislcg3 libraries to be compatible with the TTS provider's program library and with one another.

Building installation and distribution packages for the various operating systems and user groups.

For more information about the assignment refer to the requirement specifications in Part II. Sametinget will implement, this project in collaboration with the University of Tromsø (UiT), Fakultet for humaniora, samfunnsfag og læring, Institutt for språkvitskap, faggruppene Divvun og Giellatekno. Sametinget will be the contractual authority and responsible for the implementation of the project. UiT will be responsible for the practical implementation and be responsible for the phonetic transcription of the text, and have responsibility for the text body, recording of voices, and the conversion of text into phonetic transcription. The rest of the technical work will be performed by the selected supplier.
