The nursing school in Buchloe is realized as an elevated two-storey block. It houses the classrooms on the first floor and a dormitory on the second floor. The built-up ground floor offers space for the increased space requirements of the clinic. The decision in favor of the location ultimately fell on the undeveloped north-east corner of the clinic site, which allows an independent building structure that has been moved away from the hospital and is directly accessible from Zeppelinstrasse. Due to the greater distance from the hospital, there are also advantages with regard to possible later separation, third-party use or third-party utilization. The area is currently used as a parking lot, the capacity of which should not be reduced, and should be expanded as far as possible in view of the new use. For this reason, an elevated construction was planned at an early planning stage, under which a large part of the parking spaces can be preserved. As a result, a two-hip bar with an east-west orientation was arranged parallel to the main access. It guarantees an equal exposure of both sides and keeps a sufficient distance from the monastery garden as well as from the neighboring detached houses to the east. The raised bar with a length of 36.30 m and a width of 13.60 m is accessed via an asymmetrically arranged 1.80 m wide central aisle. On the school floor, this results in rooms on the west side that are more than 6 meters deep for a classroom, a group room that can be divided, a library and 2 storage rooms. On the east side, around 4.50 m deep smaller rooms for administration, social and ancillary uses are lined up. On the living floor above, the deep clasp is used for twin rooms, the flatter one for single rooms and a lounge. All rooms are equipped with a wet room with shower. The entrance and the main access with staircase and elevator are located on the northern end of the building. At the southern end, an external staircase with weather protection ensures the second structural escape route. The escape route lengths are easily adhered to, instruction by the fire brigade is not necessary, but is easily possible.
The first floor has a floor height of 4.00 m. This allows a clear height of 3.00 m for the classrooms and the installation guidance in a suspended ceiling. The second floor has a floor height of 3.05 m with a clear ceiling height of 2.85 m. Under the construction of the elevation, the clear height of the parking spaces is 2.05 m. The building is a total of 10.75 m high. In order to minimize impairments to the clinic's operations through the shortest possible construction time, the building was planned as a modular construction right from the start. With regard to the greatest possible planning and usage flexibility, the entire structure is based on a uniform grid. The 2.35 m grid enables cost-effective and simple production and regular transport of the modules on the road. The length of the modules is also 6.65 m and 6.55 m, which is easy to transport. The construction of the modules is basically not specified, but a steel frame construction is assumed. In order to ensure an even joint grid of the facade, the facade is only assembled after the structure has been erected. The modules are stored on a raised reinforced concrete slab with beams. The round supports of the elevation, the core of the main access and a ground-floor technical room behind the escape stairs are also made of reinforced concrete. The core and the technical room stiffen the building. To enable efficient parking, the support grid of the elevation changes to a size of 8.025 m.
