Description:
Treatment and marketing of textile waste

Nordværk I/S offers reception, pre-sorting and fine sorting of the waste fraction textile waste with subsequent disposal for reuse, recycling and other material recovery, cf. the waste hierarchy. The textile waste comes from Aalborg, Hjørring, Jammerbugt, Brønderslev, Mariagerfjord, Rebild and Læsø municipalities' recycling centres and household collections and represents an estimate of 1,300 tonnes. To the extent that reusable textiles are obtained in the fraction, these must be sold for reuse or preparation for re-use, cf. the waste hierarchy - either directly by the Offeror or a relevant third party. The contracting entity attaches importance to a solution of the highest possible quality, with as much recycling as possible for the production of new textile products as well as the best documentation for treatment and marketing. The framework agreement has an estimated value of DKK 3,800,000 excl. VAT, cf. clause II.2.6), and a maximum value of DKK 5,700,000 excl. VAT.

The tenderer must be able to tolerate the presence of unopened bags and sacks in the fraction. The tenderer must be able to receive surplus clothing from a second-hand shop loosely in a large container.
