NIH (The Norwegian School of Sport Sciences) shall during the period from June 2015 until the end of 2017 renovate major parts of the buildings. Several major procurements of furniture and fixtures and materials will be implemented during this period. Also normal procurements for the school will be implemented. The procurement function at NIH is organisational placed under the Human Resources and the Finance Department and is currently comprising a purchasing manager and a purchasing consultant. Since the number of procurements during the renovation period will increase considerably, NIH requests assistance from a consultancy company in order to strengthen the procurement function.

For several of the procurement processes related to the renovation, the contracting authority wishes that the selected service provider shall function as a project manager and implement the entire procurement process in co-operation with the contracting authority's procurement managers. This means contact and communication with several of NIH's joint venture partners. The selected service provider shall also support NIH's procurement manager and the management with establishing a procurement plan/strategy for the procurements related to the renovation project.

Apart from this, the selected service provider can also be engaged in the implementation of the procurements that are related to the school's normal operations; e.g. entering into several framework agreements and implementation of separate procurements for areas not included in the renovation process.
