The district office intends to build a new road maintenance facility in Abstatt on the site of the existing road maintenance department.

This will be dismantled and demolished. The new building is divided into the functional areas administration and social rooms, car workshop with ancillary rooms, office, storage area and washing hall, storage halls for vehicles, shelters for winter equipment.
