Management of FH and radio frequencies.
Decree
As such, RTE operates a telecommunications network known as “Security Network” which is composed of different means of transmission (optical fibers, microwave beams, operated links, etc.).
In this context, RTE has a radio network (SRS “Security Radio System”) based on PMR/SAT (Private Mobile Radiocommunications/Satellite) relays embedded in high-voltage line teams vehicles, as well as mobile terminals. These equipment use allotated frequencies. RTE has AUF licences authorizing it to two channels in the 400 MHz band to cover the entire French territory.
For the use of private radio beams, RTE has AUF licenses in the 1.5 GHz frequency ranges (until the end of 2023), 13 Ghz and 23 GHz.
The FH and Radio frequency management activities are the subject of this publication.
