The object of the procurement is library furniture to be procured for the needs of vantaa city library's various branches in accordance with this invitation to tender and its appendices.

This procurement is divided into subdivisions as follows:

Subdivision 1. Bookcases

Subdivision 2. Picture book loggers

Subdivision 3. Comic book shelves

Subdivision 4. Display furniture

Subdivision 5. Leaf furniture

Subdivision 6. Book trolleys

A framework agreement consists of a subdivision-specific framework agreement based on order of priority. A maximum of two (2) framework contract suppliers are selected per sub-area. The operating model of the framework agreement is described in the Draft Agreement (Appendix 7). The contract period is two (2) years, after which the Subscriber has the option of two (2) option years, one (1) year at a time.

Library furniture can be purchased on the basis of agreements either as individual purchases of complementary furniture or as larger purchases of new furniture entities. Vantaa City Library consists of eleven offices located in the Vantaa city area. The furnishing of the new Kivistö library office is not included in this acquisition.

The contracting entity does not commit to estimates in euros or to specific procurement volumes presented in the tender documents during the contract period. Procurements can be made by all divisions and public enterprises of the City of Vantaa.
