Pilot Project 1 Tropical Hall - Ventilation - Tropical Hall in Allwetterzoo Münster

Installation of ventilation systems on the roof of the Meranti Hall in the Allweather Zoo Münster. The hall is supplied by ventilation systems H1.1 Hall and H1.2 Hall. The conference area via annex K1 conference and the technical and side rooms in the conference area via the K2 conference annex adjacent rooms.

The hall is supplied by ventilation systems H1.1 Hall and H1.2 Hall. The conference area is supplied via plant K1 and the technical and side rooms in the conference area are supplied via plant K2.

The plant H1.1 is located on the roof of the northwest wing. The 6.000m³/h ventilation system has the following components: filter, fan, heat recovery, changeover heat exchanger, silencer.

Exhaust air extraction is carried out via duct grilles in the exhaust pipe located along the upper wall area of the hall in the northwest area.

The supply air is blown into the hall via long throw nozzles, which are located on the pipe attached to the upper part of the wall along the southwest wing. The entrance area visitors are also supplied by this facility.

Appendix 1.2 is located on the roof of the southeast wing. The 6.000m³/h ventilation system has the following components: filter, fan, heat recovery, changeover heat exchanger, silencer.

Exhaust air extraction is carried out via sewer grilles in the exhaust pipe located along the upper wall area of the hall in the southeast area.

The supply air is blown into the hall via long throw nozzles, which are located on the pipe that is attached to the top of the wall northeast wing. The visitor exit area is also connected to this system.

The plant K1 is located on the roof of the southeast. grand piano and supplies the two conference rooms, the conference entrance and the foyer upstairs. The 8.445m³/h ventilation system has the following components: filter, heater, radiator, fan, heat recovery, silencer.

After entering the upper floor, the exhaust duct is divided into three strands for conference 1, conference 2 and entrance/foyer areas. Each strand receives a constant volume flow regulator followed by a silencer. The exhaust air is extracted via grilles in the lateral ceiling jump of the conference rooms or grilles in the slope ceiling.

The channel distribution also applies to supply air, which is introduced into the slope ceiling via air flows.

The plant K2 stands on the roof of the northeast wing and supplies the WC areas conference on the upper floor and the technical and ancillary rooms on the ground floor. The ventilation system with supply air/exhaust air 1,355m³/h/ 1,245m³/h has the following components: filter, heater, radiator, fan, heat recovery, silencer. The air network consists of ducts and pipes.

The supply and exhaust air is via disc valves. Individual strands have throttle valves for air flow adjustment and telephony silencers are used in the toilet area.
