Provision of transport services for the transport of the general public in local public transport (regional rail passenger transport) and related services in the networks West and Dagebüll of the State of Schleswig-Holstein from the annual timetable 2026 (12/2025 – 12/2034).
Provision of scheduled operating services in regional rail passenger transport (SPNV) and related services (Network West)Joint clients for Netz West are the State of Schleswig-Holstein and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. The services covered by the contract are to be provided from the timetable change in December 2025 until the timetable change in December 2034. The scheduled operating services on the current lines of RE 6/60 (Westerland (Sylt) – Hamburg (-Altona)) and RB 62 (Heide - Itzehoe) have a volume of approx. 4.4 million train kilometres / p.a.. The contractor is obliged to rent the railway vehicles required for operation from a vehicle provider. The contractor is obliged to conclude a lease agreement for the maintenance depot in Husum. After the contract has been awarded, the contractor is obliged to set up a project company to fulfil the contractual obligations and to provide it with equity capital.

The services covered by the contract are to be provided from the timetable change in December 2025 until the timetable change in December 2034. The scheduled operating services on line RB 65 (Niebüll – Dagebüll Mole) have a volume of approx. 0.1 million train kilometres / p.a..
