The Lausitzer Seenland Klinikum is located in the new town of the city of Hoyerswerda. The town of Hoyerswerda is located in Upper Lusatia and thus in the Sorbian settlement area and belongs to the central city association of Bautzen and Görlitz. The Lusatian Lake District Hospital was built in 1968 as a new hospital and since then has been steadily expanded and adapted to the renewing requirements. Since 2022, the clinic has been an academic teaching hospital of the TU Dresden and a medical vocational school has been connected.
The hospital is classified as an accident hospital/specialist care provider and has a helipad. The building itself consists of several sections.
The client has set itself the goal of ensuring high-quality, state-of-the-art patient care close to home in the future as well.
For this reason, it is intended to plan and then implement a naviated, digital fluoroscopy unit, a so-called hybrid operating theatre and a system for carrying out robot-assisted operations in the existing building 6 in a new building structure to be planned and integrated, primarily on the 5th floor and, in terms of technology, also on the 6th floor.
The planning services for the construction of the necessary building structures are not the subject of this call for tenders, but are put out to tender separately.
