The subject of the contract to be awarded is the technical planning of the technical equipment in the course of the extension of the light rail line 1 to Sennestadt (Bielefeld)
moBiel GmbH, the operator of the Bielefeld light rail network, is planning to extend the light rail line 1 from today's Senne terminus to Sennestadt. It is intended to extend the Stadtbahn line 1 from the current stop "Sennefriedhof" for about 7.5 km in the direction of Sennestadt with 11 to 12 stops. The terminus "Senne" with its turning loop will be converted in favor of a parking facility (8 sidings with stump turning system). It is a 2-track line in metre gauge with Vignol track and two simple track changes. 750 V DC voltage is used as the traction power supply voltage. The zig/zag is ± 420 mm with a bracket arrangement of 975 mm in front of the bogie centre axis. The estimated (chargeable) construction costs amount to approx. EUR 21.5 million net. The subject of the planning contract to be awarded are the basic services of the service phases Lph 2 - 4 HOAI of the technical equipment service profile in accordance with Annex 15 to §§ 55 HOAI for the sub-trades:
•High-voltage systems (catenary, traction current and rectifier substations) System group 4 according to §53 para. 2 HOAI
•Telecommunications or information technology systems (traffic signal system, switch control, etc. and LSA along the L756) System group 5 according to §53 para. 2 HOAI
• High-voltage systems (electrical installation of the elevated platforms) System group 4 according to §53 para. 2 HOAI
The planning services of work phases 2 and 3 are to be started immediately after the contract has been awarded and completed within 8 months.
The planning services of service phase 4 are to be provided by the completion of the planning approval procedure (submission expected at the end of 2024), so that the construction services can be put out to tender in 2026 if possible (LPH 5 to 7). The construction project is financed with public subsidies as well as the client's own funds (moBiel GmbH).
