The Mitteldeutsche Rundfunk (MDR), the Deutsche Welle (DW), the Hessischer Rundfunk (HR), the Norddeutsche Rundfunk (NDR), the Südwestrundfunk (SWR), the Westdeutsche Rundfunk (WDR) and the contribution service intend to meet their needs for personal protective equipment (PPE) for head, eye, hearing, hand, breathing and fall protection for at least the next 2 years, at most the next 4 years, to be covered by this framework contract.

The product categories head protection, eye protection, hearing protection, hand protection, respiratory protection and fall protection are final. Behind each individual product category there is a myriad of manufacturers and products, and not all of them can be represented. The shopping cart formed in the bidder's price declaration represents an excerpt from the possible product range. The top products for each individual product category were added to the shopping cart - based on experience from the past few years. The beneficiaries of this framework contract have different needs that have to be adapted to the given conditions of use. Therefore, those entitled to purchase reserve the right to call up other products from the listed product categories that are not mentioned in the shopping cart and which the contractual partner has in its range. All PPE must have at least a CE mark.
