The Norwegian Police Shared Services (Norwegian: PFT), hereafter called the contracting authority, shall, on behalf of the Norwegian Customs, the Norwegian Correctional Service, the Governor of Svalbard and the Norwegian Police Security Service enter into a contract for the procurement of civil working clothes and protective equipment. The purpose of the procurement is to cover the need for various types of standard off-the-shelf clothing, including working clothes for kitchen and office personnel, working clothes and protective equipment. Based on previous years’ procurements, the estimated value is approx. NOK 5.5 million during the contract period, including the option years. See the tender documentation for a further description.
Working clothes for kitchen and office personnel are used when other uniforms or clothes are not in use. The kitchen clothing shall in this context be used by personnel in institutional household kitchens, smaller kitchens and associated locations. The office clothing is used by office personnel, reception personnel and course administration personnel that requires civilian, attractive clothing in connection with representation or other assignments requiring this type of clothing.
The products in this lot are intended as a supplement to other approved equipment, and the products will be used in very different contexts. The working clothes and protective equipment shall be used by personnel carry out cleaning, undercover police work, forensic technology, workshop and janitor services, as well as personnel who need working clothes with a robust design.
