A new pressure retention system is to be erected at the site of the Schwerin Süd combined heat and power plant to replace the existing system for maintaining pressure in the heating water system.

The tasks of pressure maintenance are to protect against evaporation in the system, taking into account local temperature increases and geodetic highs, as well as to avoid impermissibly high or low pressure due to thermal expansion or heat contractions and leaks in the system.

The heating water required to maintain the pressure is degassed and stored in a mains water tank including a degasser by means of auxiliary steam from the auxiliary steam generator (HIDE). Furthermore, the water is replenished to the HIDE from the mains water tank.

(a) The main components of the invitation to tender shall be as follows:

• Auxiliary steam generator with

- Initial shut-off valves on all pipelines

-Instrumentation

- Regulations and controls

- Insulation according to manufacturer's standard

- Flange connections for all pipelines to be connected to the HiDE

- Erdungsanschluss

• Chimney (approx. 35m) with

- Emission measurement points and instrumentation

- Sound insulation measures (exhaust silencers)

• Neutralization system for chimney condensates with

- Tank for neutralized RG condensates (with drain option)

• Load plans for foundation calculation

• All necessary assembly and aids (crane, scaffolding, etc.)

b) In particular, the following services must be provided:
