The city of Warendorf is planning to redesign the two central business streets in the city center, Münsterstraße and Freckenhorster Straße. The planning area runs through the old town over a length of approx. 650 m and covers the retail focus of the city of Warendorf. The area covers a total of approx. 8225 m² and extends in an east-west direction from the Münstertor to the Heumarkt (length approx. 375 m) and in a north-south direction from the local crossroads to the Freckenhorster Gate (length approx. 275 m). A coordinated preliminary design plan is available.
