The national infrastructure for X-ray diffraction and scattering at the University of Oslo will be expanded with a further 2 diffractometers. These additional instruments cover two needs: a) the routine powder diffractometer must be replaced after more than 10 years of daily use, b) a very specific instrument will be added that is designed to perform operando diffraction studies of batteries.
