Many conflicts or tensions in everyday life, around the uses of public space, living together in collective housing that do not necessarily find resolution through the intervention of common law services, can disrupt, sometimes significantly, the quality of life of residents and tenants.

Thus, since 2018, the City of Caen, Caen la mer habitat and Caennaise have wished to join forces to implement a joint mediation system.

This mediation system, therefore part of the field of residential tranquility, is to be deployed in priority neighborhoods and neighborhoods on the eve of the Policy of the City of Caen, with the objectives of regulating tensions and reducing the feeling of insecurity.

The holder will intervene, on behalf of the so-called “donors” members of the grouping on heritage (common areas and immediate surroundings of specific buildings and premises) and on public spaces in the immediate vicinity of the various addresses.

In addition, at a rate of twice a school week, the contract holder must also, on behalf of the City of Caen, ensure a pedestrian walk in the heart of priority neighborhoods, more particularly in the vicinity of schools, at the exit of the students.
