Engineering surveying (building surveying) and true-to-deformation measurement for planning services for the preservation of the substance and the securing of the rotunda of the Congress Hall on the former Nazi party rally grounds in Nuremberg as well as for the expansion and conversion for predominantly cultural uses.
In addition to a building survey, a BIM-capable 3D model and a measurement of accuracy level III according to Günter Eckstein, Landesdenkmalamt Baden-Württemberg (Hrsg.): Empfehlungen für Baudokumentationen. Arbeitsheft 7. Stuttgart 1999.
Scale M 1:50; Measuring accuracy +/- 2.5 cm.
Dimensions/dimensions of the part of the building to be recorded "Rotbau der Kongresshalle":
Number of main floors: 5
Number of mezzanine floors: 4
Building height: approx. 40 m
Length of unwinding outside approx. 540 m
Length of unfolding inside ("inner courtyard" = unbuilt congress hall) approx. 410 m
Area "Courtyard": approx. 25,000 sqm
Special features: the building contains 35 staircases of very different sizes (see description of measures) and has unusually high rooms.
It is intended to commission the services in stages, sections and, if necessary, in part. For more information, see the tender documents.
Services of engineering surveying according to Appendix 1.4 HOAI (1.4.1 (2) 2 & 1.4.1 (3) for the existing rotunda and the "inner courtyard" of the congress hall (the two head buildings are not the subject of the services): Creation of a true-to-deformation measurement including the creation of a BIM-capable 3D model.
The true-to-deformation measurement is on a scale of 1:50 with a measurement accuracy of +/- 2.5 cm according to the ge-nauigkeitsstufe III according to Günter Eckstein, Landesdenkmalamt Baden-Württemberg (Hrsg.): Empfehlungen für Baudokumentationen. Arbeitsheft 7. Stuttgart 1999.
This is an exact and deformation-true measurement that also meets the requirements of building research and forms the basis for conversion measures. A prerequisite for the deformation-appropriate measurement is a three-dimensional surveying system on which the detailed photograph is built outside and inside the building in all rooms. The heights are to be related to sea level (m above sea level). Floor plans, sections and views must be able to be adjusted or matched via net crosses or control points.
The orders must be carried out on site. The display accuracy must be within ± 2.5 cm.
If necessary, the measured values are also entered.
The plans show the following:
– Construction and structure of the walls including all openings and shafts
– Construction and soffit of the ceilings
– Structure and structure of the floors
– Baufugen
– References to earlier building conditions such as bricked wall openings, approaches of former vaults, etc.
– If required, detailed drawings on an enlarged scale
– Description of the building material and construction, if symbols are not sufficient
– Detection of structural damage such as cracks in the masonry or broken wood
– Entry of room names with room numbers in the floor plans
Result: Documentation true to deformation for restoration and conversion planning, static security and planning-preparatory construction condition analysis as well as for the purposes of scientific building research.
At least the following plans shall be drawn up:
- Site plan with representation of the entire building and the "inner courtyard" with all concrete slabs
- Floor plans of all five main floors
- Floor plans of all four mezzanine floors
- Roof view (main roof and colonnade level); without representation of the existing temporary roofs and without representation of the existing PV system)
- Cross-sections in the axis of the 17 vestibules, each with two viewing directions of the views
- Cross-sections in axis of the 16 sectors
- Cross-sections in the two connection components to the head buildings
- Fabrication of granite façade outside
- Handling of brick enclosure walls "inner courtyard"
- unfolded sections with views parallel to the outer façade through the foyer, the toilet cores, the internal staircases, the shaft zone and the wing staircase system
- Detailed plans of all window and torn tables in the outer walls for the planning of new windows
