The city of Schlüchtern is tendering for the turnkey construction (planning and construction) of residential buildings with 3.5-room apartments for refugee accommodation in timber construction for initially 60 residents (approx. 900 m² GFA), ready for occupancy by 31.12.2023 at the latest, plus option for a further 120 residents with the latest call by 31.12.2024 and completion by 30.06.2025.

The city of Schlüchtern needs refugee accommodation quickly. For this purpose, building rights for multi-storey buildings (preferably 3 storeys, 2 or 4 storeys are also possible) in timber construction are to be created parallel to this tender on a plot of land of the city that has yet to be determined - two locations are currently being investigated. About 60 residents are to be accommodated, preferably in 4-room apartments plus wet cell and common room / kitchen for 8 residents each. A preliminary study shows that a three-storey building with approx. 900 m² GFA meets the requirements. A resolution of the city council prescribes a timber construction (wooden frame, solid wood) mandatory.

Initially, only the accommodation (the building(s) for approx. 60 residents will be commissioned, optionally up to 180 residents will be accommodated, i.e. by 31 December 2024, the client must be given the option to commission the buildings for a further 60 or 120 residents at a fixed price.
