The procurement is carried out as a negotiated procedure with prior announcement in accordance with the Act (2016:1146) on Procurement in the Utilities Sectors, LUF. Selection of the winning supplier is based on the best price-quality ratio.

The assignment consists of managing Karlshamns Hamn AB's overall needs for IT equipment, IT operations and related products and services.

The assignment includes all work that takes place with the IT and information equipment. Where there is a need to re-acquire, update, supplement or continuously maintain hardware equipment, software, licences, networks and associated network technical equipment, Wi-Fi, data centres, provide support, training and carry out operational maintenance, the supplier shall have the capacity and experience required by a port operation.

The Port of Karlshamn is procuring a partner who will act as Port of Karlshamn's own IT unit. The assignment includes having resources for business intelligence, advice and the overall capacity in order to deliver the products and services the assignment requires throughout the contract period.
