Torus are a 40 000 home landlord and one of the region’s largest stock holding housing groups. The groups aim is to make a difference to communities across its heartland areas of Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington. With a local focus and national perspective, we are committed to delivering urban and social regeneration, accelerating regional growth and contributing towards a sustainable economy. Blending commercial initiative with social purpose, we place people at the heart of our vision. By developing and connecting thriving communities. By creating local jobs and opportunities. By improving health and well-being. By doing all this and more, we are creating a legacy that extends far beyond the homes we build and the services we offer. We create better places, better prospects and better futures. Torus has identified 94 traditional solid wall terraced properties with suspended timber ground floors. We are looking for an innovative underfloor insulation solution that can be installed with minimal disruption to the occupant. The properties are in various areas of Liverpool and have an average SAP rating of D. The aim of the project is to increase the SAP rating of the property and thereby reduce the occupant’s vulnerability to fuel poverty. As well as reduce the CO2 emissions of the properties.
