The object of the order is to perform active protection procedures in Natura 2000 Uroczyska Forest Zielonki PLH300058 and in the nature reserve “Lake Czarne”, consisting of tree and shrub cutting together with the removal of biomass.
The subject of the order includes treatments in the lobe of the natural habitat 7140 Transitional Peatlands and scrapers (mostly with Scheuchzerio-Caricetea vegetation).
The subject of the order is the implementation of a protective action resulting from the plan of conservation tasks for the Natura 2000 Uroczyska Forest Zielonki PLH300058 (OJ. Woj. Great. 2020, item 2464), carried out under the project POIS.02.04-00-0108/16 BC Protection of habitats and species of non-forest areas dependent on waters.
The area of the felling in question has a total area of 1.27 hectares.
The subject of the order is located on records plots with no. 254, 301, 380, 441, within Zielonka, Municipality Murowana Goślina. The detailed location of the object of the order shall be shown in Annex 1 to the OPZ.
Scope and characteristics of the clippings:
(a) Felling is subject to all trees and shrubs (from juvenile forms, to adult copies) growing in the lobe of the natural habitat within the boundaries of the surface marked in the field by paint.
(b) The work area is located in the lowering of the site, bordered on both sides by an escarpment with a significant slope. Due to its close proximity to the reservoir (J. Black), the lobe of the habitat can be heavily moistened places, especially during high groundwater levels or high water levels in the lake. Also during periods with long persistent rainfall, there may be flooding of the area.
(c) The degree of compaction and the type of stand is visible in the photographic documentation in Annex 2 to the OPZ.
(d) The cutting should be carried out as low as possible on the ground surface — the stumps may protrude up to a height of 3 cm. Removal of juvenile characters can be done by manual plucking.
e) Clipping work should be done manually (handsaw, exhaust cougher, axe, sectator, etc.) in a way that will not cause a violation of
and destruction of the substrate For the export of biomass, e.g. tractor and trailer or specialist forestry equipment (e.g. forwarder) can be used only to the location indicated in Annex 3.
(f) In the course of the subject of the contract, the contractor is obliged to remove the total biomass resulting from felling and dead parts of trees and shrubs (boughs, branches) falling under them, however, without being able to use it in business activities and without the possibility of being able to use it in business activities placing it on the market.
(g) For the transport of biomass outside the lobes of natural habitat, the contractor will have a terrain designated technological route and a temporary storage and manipulation site prior to export fixed according to the sketch set out in Annex 3 to the OPZ. It will not be possible to navigate equipment intended to transport biomass outside the roads designated by the contracting authority. It is forbidden to enter the lobes of natural habitat. Biomass should be collected by hand from the lobe of the habitat and moved to the technological road, located at the edge of the escarpment. The difficulty in this case will be to overcome a significant slope of the site, but it is possible to use a winch with a rope (e.g. steel).
(h) Biomass collected at the designated provisional storage site (Annex 3 to the OPZ) must be fully cleaned within 2 weeks of completion of the work in the lobe of the habitat and the entire area is given in accordance with the transfer protocols
at the deadline of the order.
(i) The detailed date for the start of work should take into account the temperature conditions i.e. frost and frost period in order to optimize the work and minimise damage from the spurt.
The felling will take place in the lobe of the natural habitat, which is protected in Natura 2000 Uroczyska Forest Zielonki PLH300058. The area of activities is concurrently located in the “Black Lake” reserve. The Contracting Authority absolutely requires that during the implementation of fieldwork do not allow the destruction of the substrate. It is unacceptable to use heavy equipment that could cause the abovementioned destruction.
