Police are frequently looking for professionals for project management and support such as:
- program managers,
- project managers,
- project leaders,
- project assistants,
- program support staff.
These functions are mainly, but not exclusively, filled for the ICT service. Within the ICT service, the PPI sector carries out IV project and program management and interim management with the aim of good cooperation between the business and the Information Management (IM) and ICT services in the implementation of projects and programs. In addition to safeguarding the continuity and quality of the service, the service directs outsourced services. The PPI sector consists of two teams: the Project, Program and Interim Management team and the Team Project Office. The sector provides capacity for leading programs and projects within the Police. These programs and projects focus on the realization, implementation and commissioning of new or changed IV and / or ICT products / services.
In 2018 and 2019, an average of 108 inquiries were issued per year for the category program, project and interim management (PPI). The Police intends to use the category for a term of five years, starting from 21.3.2020, with an option to extend it by two times twelve months.
