The competition involves the transportation of school children by taxi, minibus or bus in Vestfold, so-called facilitated school transport.The ride takes place mainly in Vestfold county, but also includes rides into and out of the county.

The competition is divided into 14 geographical areas / sub-assignment. In addition, tenders will be offered concerning the desire to participate in future mini-competitions for transport assignments exceeding 18 km and other transport assignments that are not requested as part of the contract call-offs within each sub-assignment.

Regardless of whether tenders are given using fixed trip costs in one or more sub-assignments, providers may tender if they want to participate in future mini-competitions for facilitated school transport in Vestfold.
