The Free State of Thuringia, represented by the Thuringian State Agency for the Environment, Mining and Nature Conservation (TLUBN), intends to complete the Natura 2000 management planning (technical contribution open land) by 2025 with this call for tenders. The focus of management planning within the Natura 2000 sites is the determination of the necessary measures in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 of the Habitats Directive to maintain or restore a favourable conservation status of the protected objects. So far, technical papers on open land for all FFH areas and 27 bird sanctuaries have been made binding by the authorities. In the ongoing planning, technical papers on open land are being developed for seven further bird sanctuaries.
For the remaining six bird sanctuaries, technical papers on open land are to be developed within the framework of lots 1 to 4 to be awarded here, thus completing the preparation of the Natura 2000 management plan in Thuringia's open land.
Untereichsfeld - Ohmgebirge (SPA 11); "Werrabergland southwest of Uder" (SPA 12)A technical contribution on open land is to be prepared within the framework of Lot 1 to be awarded here for SPA 11 "Untereichsfeld - Ohmgebirge" and SPA 12 "Werrabergland southwest of Uder" and thus the preparation of Natura 2000 management planning in Thuringia's open land is to be completed.
Muschelkalk slopes of the western Saale plateau (SPA 33)An expert contribution on open land is to be prepared within the framework of Lot 2 to be awarded here for SPA 33 "Muschelkalkhänge der westliche Saaleplatte" (Shell limestone slopes of the western Saale Plateau) and thus the preparation of the Natura 2000 management plan in the open land of Thuringia is to be completed.
Vordere and Hintere Heide south of Uhlstädt (SPA 36)A technical contribution on open land is to be prepared within the framework of Lot 3 to be awarded here for SPA 36 "Vordere und Hintere Heide süd Uhlstädt" and thus the preparation of the Natura 2000 management plan in the open land of Thuringia is to be completed.
Nordöstliches Altenburger Land (SPA 44)A technical contribution to open land is to be prepared within the framework of Lot 4 for SPA 44 "Northeastern Altenburger Land" to be awarded here and thus the preparation of the Natura 2000 management plan in the open land of Thuringia is to be completed.
