The tender includes a framework agreement regarding further development and maintenance of the Central Public Housing Register (DCAB) system.

Denmark has more than 500,000 social housing units managed in housing units of varying sizes. The housing departments are administered by housing associations or housing administrations.

The National Building Fund has built up the Central General Building Register (DCAB), which is a central building register of the entire general building stock.

DCAB supports the work with robust operation and maintenance plans in the social housing organizations, including ensuring correct provisions for planned and periodic maintenance and renewals in the housing departments, and supports the fulfillment of the requirements for mandatory external review of the housing organizations' operation and maintenance plans.

The DCAB acts, among other things, as a reporting portal for a variety of reports of data from public housing organisations and as a base register for a wide variety of types of data.

DCAB collects, processes and exhibits data from housing associations' reports, the external data from, among others, the Danish Energy Agency, Molio price books, as well as data from the external review. The register is based on master data and master data hierarchy from landsbyggefonden's master data register as well as building subboard according to the Management Classification.

A "basic solution" of DCAB went into operation in Q2 2021. Since then, there has been a significant continuous further development and improvement of DCAB. There will now be continued further development and improvement of the current version, including tasks as a result of a planned evaluation of the content of the external review task and functionalities in DCAB planned in 2023.
