In Germany, the limit value for arsenic in drinking water is set at 10 μg/l in the Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV 2001). In 2023, a new version of the Drinking Water Ordinance is to be published, in which the limit value will be lowered from 10 μg/l to 4 μg/l. N-ERGIE supplies the city of Nuremberg and other municipalities with drinking water from several extraction areas. This contract includes the planning services according to HOAI (performance profiles for engineering structures, structural engineering, technical equipment) for arsenic minimization at the Forsthaus waterworks.

With the change of the limit values in the future Drinking Water Ordinance to 4 μg/l, compliance with conventional water extraction is no longer possible. Due to a possible treatment to reduce arsenic concentrations, the raw water from Krämersweiher should be able to be operated alone in the future if required. In addition, the manganese concentration is to be reduced by treatment in accordance with the given legal framework conditions and the raw water from Krämersweiher is to be physically deacidified in the Forsthaus waterworks. The new treatment stage is to be realized at the site of the Forsthaus waterworks by means of an extension.

The contract includes the planning according to HOAI 2021 for engineering structures according to § 43, structural planning according to § 51 and the planning of the technical equipment according to

§ 55 HOAI. Scope: Basic services (all service phases per service profile) as well as additional special services.

Estimated eligible construction costs in euros net:
