The award procedure aims to appoint an architectural firm that will be responsible for the design, development and realization of a new building.

The award procedure aims to appoint an architectural firm that will be responsible for the design, development and realization of a new building.

The chosen architectural firm will also be responsible for organizing a tendering procedure in accordance with the Public Procurement Act and assists the principal in assigning the various lots to the contractors.

The object of the assignment is to construct a new building for the overall services of the facility within the master plan developed for the OC Cirkant site, after demolition of an existing building.

4 pavilions have been erected on the site of the facility, where a total of 12 living groups are housed. The building for the umbrella services will be given a central place on the domain.

The building to be designed must house various services. It is:

- premises for care and support of clients. Rooms for clients' daytime activities (music studio, cooking studio, craft workshop, snoezel rooms, quiet room, sanitary clients [...]). Therapy rooms (kiné, logo, therapeutic bath),

- logistics premises. Industrial kitchen, limited laundry, storage rooms, local techniques,

- reception area of OC Cirkant. Reception desk, (multipurpose) restaurant, visitors' room, visitors to sanitary facilities,

- administrative premises. Offices, meeting rooms, staff room / sanitary.

The aim is to have an optimal implantation of the building and to make maximum use of the properties of the site. The design takes into account safe and comfortable transport flows between the various buildings on the site. Accessibility is a priority. Functionality and multifunctional use are a necessity within a limited construction volume.

Taking into account the environmental sensitivity and the great limitation of the clients, a pleasant living environment must be created. In addition, the experience of the outside environment must be included as much as possible in the concept. All this within a creative design with attention to energy efficiency / climate control.

In addition, the building must exude a welcoming character, as it is the main entrance of OC Cirkant.
