Ullensaker Municipality shall expand the capacity at Gardermoen treatment plant. In addition to a considerable capacity expansion, the new Gardermoen wastewater treatment plan must fulfil significantly more stringent requirements on the reduction of the total amount of phosphor used in the treatment process.
The expansion of Gardermoen treatment plant, the UGRA project, will consist of several different contracts. In this project, Ullensaker Municipality has chosen to put preparatory work and installation in a separate contract (ET01) that will be held parallel to the procurement of the construction contract in order to save time.
The installation contract roughly covers:
— improving the existing site road;
— felling woods, including the removal and disposal of the removed woods (trees and branches);
— field improvements with the removal of stumps, roots, etc., left over from felling woods and the removal of the upper thin growth layer;
— establishment of a site road halfway to the construction pit;
— establishment of electricity to the barracks from exits in the site transformer and exits in boards in the existing treatment plant;
— establishment of barracks for the operations organisation at the treatment plant;
— establishment of barracks for contractors and the builder organisation;
— establishment of a store area;
— establishment of a flushing station for lorries, etc.;
— casting concrete plates to protect existing infrastructure;
— fencing in the site area.
Established hire contracts for barracks and the flushing station for lorries must be transferred from the installation contractor to Ullensaker Municipality at the time of the hand over.
