With the call for tenders, the basic services of service phases 3 to 6 are awarded to the following service areas:
- Object planning of traffic facilities in accordance with § 47 HOAI,
- Technical planning of technical equipment (traffic light systems) in accordance with § 55 HOAI,
- Object planning of civil engineering structures (rainwater management) in accordance with §43 HOAI,
- Open space planning according to §39 HOAI.
The Transport and Civil Engineering Office (VTA) of the City of Leipzig, together with the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) and the municipal utilities, is planning the construction project Berliner Straße and Erich-Weinert-Straße from W.-Liebknecht-Platz to the Berliner Straße railway overpass as a complex measure.
The urban development of the west side of the main station and the Eutritzsch free loading station south and north of Berliner Straße near the Roscherstraße junction require the transport connection of both development areas to the Berliner Straße/Roscherstraße junction in Leipzig. Berliner Straße and Erich-Weinert-Straße will have to be expanded from Wilhelm-Liebknecht-Platz to EÜ Berliner Straße, the tracks will have to be widened to a distance of 2.80 m from the centre of the track and a new stop will have to be built at the Berliner Straße/Roscherstraße junction.
Preliminary planning has already been submitted to the client.
The following planning services will be awarded in 2 lots:
- Lot 1: Award of the overall planning of road traffic facilities by VTA Leipzig
- Lot 2: Award of the overall planning of the tram operating facilities by LVB
With this contract notice, Lot1 is put out to tender.
The construction costs for Lot 1 are currently estimated at approximately EUR 4.56 million net. Planning services must begin immediately after commissioning.
