Waterford Institute of Technology is engaging in a competitive tendering process for the appointment of an architect-led multi-disciplinary design team for the extension of our ArcLabs Enterprise building on our West Campus. The design team will comprise of all qualified personnel required to provide a full range of services for a project of this nature, including but not limited to:
— Architect;
— M&E Consultant;
— Civil and Structural;
— Quantity Surveyor;
— Fire consultant;
— Project Supervisor for Design Process (PSDP);
— Design Certifier;
— Assigned Certifier.
The existing building will need minor modification and relocation of some facilities to accommodate the extension.

It is proposed to extend the current ArcLabs Enterprise building in an architecturally sympathetic manner to provide in the region of 1 150 sqm to accommodate a further 120 staff in an office type environment. The concept is that the building will be over 3 floors embracing the most sustainable and energy efficient design currently available.
