The object of the order is the collection and development of municipal waste from the property in which the residents reside and from properties where the cottages are located or from other properties used for recreational and leisure purposes located in the territory of the municipality of Zgierz in a way that ensures adequate levels of recycling, preparation for reuse and recovery by other methods and limiting the mass of biodegradable municipal waste transferred to storage.

1. The object of the order is the collection and development of municipal waste from the property in which the residents reside and from properties where the cottages are located or from other properties used for recreational and leisure purposes, located in the territory of the municipality of Zgierz in a way that ensures adequate levels of recycling, preparation for reuse and recovery by other methods and limiting the mass of biodegradable municipal waste transferred to storage.

2. The Contractor under the provision of the service is obliged to operate from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022 the Selective Collection of Municipal Waste (hereinafter referred to as PSZOK), to which waste from the property in which the inhabitants reside and from real estate on which there are cottages or other real estate used for recreational and leisure purposes located in the territory of the municipality of Zgierz. PSZOK will accept the following fractions of municipal waste free of charge: paper, metals, plastics, glass, multi-plant packaging waste and biowaste, hazardous waste, expired medicines and chemicals, waste ineligible for medical waste created in household as a result of taking medicinal products in the form of injections and monitoring of the level of substances in the blood, in particular needles and syringes, used batteries and batteries, used electrical and electronic equipment, furniture and other large-sized waste, used tyres from passenger cars, construction and demolition waste and textile and clothing waste. The collection should be held at the contractor PSZOK in a way that provides easy access for residents. PSZOK is scheduled to function, for the entire period of the contract from Monday to Friday from 7 to 15 and on Saturday from 8 to 13.

3. The subject of the contract includes the collection and management of municipal waste and the provision of waste bags for waste collected selectively and for biowaste to property owners. It is understood by receiving in any quantity of waste made available from containers or bags put up in front of the property, by the road or from cavities in the fence — pergola; receiving in any quantity of waste supplied to the PSZOK from the property of the inhabited property, from properties on which there are cottages or other real estate used for recreational and leisure purposes located in the territory of the municipality of Zgierz. Providing bags for segregated fractions will be done on a “bag for bag” basis unless the property owner reports the need to receive additional bags for individual selective waste fractions. The Contractor undertakes to use the collected municipal waste in accordance with the applicable regulations.
