Project 23.607-1 - Temse, RWA-as Schoolstraat – Pastoor Boelstraat - Kouterstraat

-The project aims to separately connect the waste cargo from Kouterstraat, Pastoor Boelstraat and Schoolstraat to the existing sewerage system in August Wautersstraat, after which it will be transported to the existing WWTP in Temse.

A separate system will be built in the Kouterstraat, Pastoor Boelstraat and the Schoolstraat.

- The project area is bounded by the Edgard Tinelplaats to the west and in the

east the Vrijheidslaan. The Kouterstraat, Pastoor Boelstraat and Schoolstraat will be completely redesigned from façade to façade.

- The existing sewerage system of the Gasthuisstraat (up to Mariadal) and the Clement D'Hooghelaan (up to the entrance of residential care centre De Reiger) will be partly provided with a separate system and will be connected to the new separate system in the Kouterstraat. The superstructure is also being renewed there. In the Gasthuisstraat, however, it is the intention that only the roadway will be broken up and renewed and that the footpaths, side strips and embroidery will be preserved. There is only a local repair for the sewer connections.

- The sports grounds in the Schoolstraat (+/- 0.186ha road, 0.065ha roof and 14.164ha unpaved surface) currently also drain to the mixed sewerage system in the Schoolstraat. As part of this project, a separate system will be created on the sports grounds. It is also decided to buffer the rainwater as much as possible in the existing canals. In order to be able to realize the buffering, a number of overflow pits with squeeze opening and slide will be provided. In addition, some existing canals will be enlarged to increase the buffer volume.

- At the site of the OCMW site (Kouterstraat 3) there will be a completely separate sewer system and a new superstructure for the construction of a new public car park with about 20 parking spaces. To this end, the existing staircase and wheelchair ramp must be demolished and a new staircase and wheelchair ramp with concrete walls will be constructed.

- Various disconnection works on private domain in accordance with disconnection plans drawn up by the disconnection expert. A new DWA pipeline is also being constructed on the public area of the sports fields for the disconnection of some buildings of the municipality of Temse. The superstructure will be repaired locally.
