Oslo Havn [the Port of Oslo] has carried out a preliminary project with a view to establishing an appropriate perimeter protection of Sydhavna and the businesses there.
Through the preliminary project and further mapping, the Port of Oslo has created a detailed engineer design basis including sketch maps with desired camera coverage/placement, high resolution orthophoto, drone photo, 360 degree point photo as well as a 3D model of the port. This basis will be available to chosen suppliers after contract signing for further protection in the project.
The project is based on the current existing systems in the port, Lenel, Onguard and Milestone Xprotect – these will be upgraded and expanded. Replacement of multiple types of electronic/electromechanical loading systems, are also part of the project. These will be replaced by a homogeneous environment for electronic door-locks that will be integrated with Lenel Onguard.
The procurement also covers further operation, service and possible expansions of the system systems and components within the same product spectrum.

It is also a desire to test new functions in the project, among other thing, use of radar over water including control of camera, sign recognition for access and use of mobile telephones as access card. This is described in more detail in the function description.
If the function test(s) give the desired result, the Port of Oslo can at a later time evaluate expansion of the function.
