Bocholter Energie- und Wasserversorgung GmbH (BEW) - hereinafter referred to as AG - was commissioned by the city of Bocholt with the planning and expansion of a comprehensive, passive broadband network described in the project area described in the following chapter. The aim of the state-funded project is the establishment of a future-proof and modern "Fiber to the Building" (FttB) network in the area of the so-called "white spots". These include all connections that are not min. 30 Mbit / s are available in the downstream.

The overall construction of all clusters is scheduled to begin in April 2019 and to be completed by the end of 2021.

For this purpose, all the necessary construction work must be performed, in particular civil engineering work for all surfaces in open and closed construction, drawing and blowing services, infrastructure services, especially the construction of network technology and glass fiber assembly work.

Blowing in micro tubes and cables, assembly of the entire passive network infrastructure (fiber optic assembly PoP NVt, GF-AP and cable network), documentation and project management.
