The target of the procurement is the helicopter services used by Caruna in its network area. The object of procurement is divided into two (2) main areas:

Sub-area 1: Line inspection and various imaging services

Subdivision 2: Snow falls, tree branching on the lead street and canopy of the periphery zone

Applications for participation can be submitted in both areas or only in one of the two sections.

A Service Provider with sufficient resources and experience in managing similar services is sought as a partner in the sub-areas.

In addition to the services in the main areas mentioned above, the candidate may offer the following voluntary services as an option to the subscriber:

Option 1: Helicopter transport service for persons in Caruna's network area

Optio 2: Lento-ohjelmapalvelu (Saas - Software as a Service)

Option 3: Provision of helicopter service with high lifting capacity in Caruna's network area.

The services of voluntary options can only be offered if the service is provided in either of the main areas or in both main areas. There is no obligation to offer voluntary options and their offer does not affect the choice of service providers in main areas 1 and/or 2.

The service provider may provide the services that are the subject of the procurement with the help of subcontractors or as a group.

The aim of the procurement is to ensure that the client has reliable, high-quality and competitively priced services that meet the client's needs.

The object of the procurement is described in more detail in Appendix 1 in the service description. The description of the procurement object is a draft and it will be specified during the negotiation phase of the tendering process. The final service description shall be published after the negotiation phase as an annex to the final invitation to tender.
