Planning of the technical equipment - plant groups 4 - 6 for the project “Expansion of the mental health clinic” at Münster University Hospital

Münster University Hospital plans to centralize psychiatry and psychosomatics in one location through an extension to the listed psychiatric building, in order to create a modern framework for patient care, research and teaching.

The particular challenge of the new building is that it must be available during initial use for 2 to 3 years for the interior tower renovation of the central hospital. This means that somatic beds have to be placed in this building on an interim basis.

The long-term use of the building should in turn enable the mental health clinic to centralize psychiatry and psychosomatics. For this purpose, a reception station with 18 seats, a standard station with 20-24 seats and 20 seats as a choice station is provided. In total, a space program of approx. 2,600 sqm of usable space is to be implemented. The budget is approximately 8.7 million euros net for the eligible construction costs (KG 300 and 400).
