The products requested in this invitation to tender will be used by HUS Group, the South Karelia Wellbeing Services County, the Kymenlaakso wellbeing services county and the Päijät-Häme wellbeing services county.
According to the Act on the Implementation of the Reform concerning Healthcare, Social Welfare and Rescue Services and the Implementation of the Related Legislation (616/2021), the responsibility for organising healthcare and social welfare will be transferred from municipalities and joint municipal authorities (with the exception of the City of Helsinki) to the wellbeing services counties on 1 January 2023. After the responsibility for organising the services will be transferred from the aforementioned contracting entities (Kymsote, Eksote and PHHYKY) to the contracting parties of the agreement.
Earlier in this announcement, section I.2 Joint Procurement, is ticked for technical reasons, the point 'At a joint contracting entity shall be concluded by the contracting entity, 'however, it is a joint procurement/procurement ring of more contracting entities. HUS contracts on behalf of all organizations involved in the joint acquisition.
