The city of Meppen intends to award planning services for the new construction of the Meppen fire station.

The basis of the current tender is the result of the architectural competition (realization competition) for a building plot in the Nödike district of the city of Meppen, which was held at the beginning of 2022. This location has since been discarded, as it has been possible to acquire a strategically more conveniently located plot of land in the area of the B 70 ramp on the "Schützenhof" road. Due to the layout of the site, it seems possible to realize the spatial concept of the 1st prize winner at the location now envisaged, whereby the aim is to exploit optimization potential.

The current call for tenders therefore requires, in the aforementioned sense, the further development of the design planning of the first prize winner from the aforementioned competition. This design was purchased and the copyright was assigned by the author to the city of Meppen.

The volunteer fire brigade of the city of Meppen has about 125 members and plus about 35 members of the youth fire brigade. The planning area is approximately 15,000 m2 in size. Cataloguing is a particular challenge that needs to be solved by the participants. The aim of the city and the Meppen fire brigade is to make optimal use of the available resources.

Completion is scheduled for 12.01.2026.

The construction costs (KG 300 + 400) are estimated at around EUR 10.5 million (gross).

- object planning buildings and interiors (§§ 33 et seq. HOAI),

Work phases 1 to 9

Initially, the client only commissions service phases 1 to 4 in accordance with HOAI and reserves the right to continue to commission the other service phases individually or as a whole. There is no entitlement to further commissioning, nor can other contractual obligations arise for the client as a result. In the event of a call-off, the contractor is obliged to provide the services, if applicable. also in stages or in detail or as a whole.

Lot 2:

Planning services for the following HOAI service profiles:

- structural engineering (§§ 49 et seq. HOAI),

Service phases 1 to 6

Initially, the client only commissions service phases 1 to 4 in accordance with HOAI and reserves the right to continue to commission the other service phases individually or as a whole. There is no entitlement to further commissioning, nor can other contractual obligations arise for the client as a result. In the event of a call-off, the contractor is obliged to provide the services, if applicable. also in stages or in detail or as a whole.

Lot 3:

Planning services for the following HOAI service profiles:

- technical equipment HLS (§§ 53 et seq. HOAI),

Service phases 1 to 9,

For:

o System group 1 (wastewater and water systems excl. gas plants)

o System group 2 (heat supply systems)

o System group 3 (ventilation systems)

o Plant group 7 (use-specific or process plants)

o System group 8 (building automation)

o System group 6 (conveyor systems)
