Sauda municipality is collecting household and business waste from inhabitants and businesses in the municipality. Furthermore, the waste is sorted roughly at our sorting facility at Birkelandsvegen 150. We now need a wheel-going excavator with sorting grabs for this work. 

Sauda Kommune Renovasjon shall buy a new excavator for sorting household and business waste at our sorting facility on Birkelandsvegen 150.Vi basically wants an electrically powered wheel excavator. However, if it is difficult to achieve within the financial framework or it is impossible to deliver in accordance with requirements, a diesel-powered machine is considered.

The Project Group in Sauda Municipality's process will evaluate the tenders and then present the following two alternatives to the Municipal Council:

1. The best alternative for an electric excavator

2. The best alternative for a diesel-powered excavator.

Furthermore, it will be up to the Municipal Council to consider the two alternatives and allocate the necessary funding.
