This procurement process is for a Patient Administration System (PAS).for the Royal United Hospital, Bath, NHS Trust. The current PAS system will be replaced at the end of October 2015. RUH's requirement is to procure and fully implement all necessary key items of functionality currently provided by the incumbent system. The provision should also include, associated training; technical deployment; phased rolled out to services; data migration; interface capability/development; cutover; documentation; reporting; audit; project management; hosted data centre options; and ITIL accredited managed service support. The successful provider will also be ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 (hosted data centre) accredited (or equivalent).The Solution must be kept updated throughout the contract period to ensure technology and functionality is kept at the leading edge. This procurement will be open for other National Health Services organisations within the NHS South to participate as appropriate. The system must conform to the RUH's Statutory Obligations with the Department Health, Information Governance requirements, ensuring compliance with the NHS data dictionary and support, statutory reporting and all relevant DSCN/ISN standards must be met. The Contract will run for a period of 5 years with the option for the Trust to extend for a further 2 years in 12 month increments.
