Delivery, provision, and operation of a mobility platform

The object of the award is the provision and operation of an intermodal mobility platform on behalf of, under the responsibility and for the account of wupsi GmbH (wupsi for short). This is due to the mobility platform and a customer application that enables travel requests, bookings and payments for intermodal routes via the platform.

The order relates to the transport services offered by wupsi and its partners in the city of Leverkusen and the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis (RBK).

The contractor shall supply the software built from components. On the one hand, the platform is the tool working in the background to process travel offers and make them bookable. All information flows through the platform and is reused by the integrated micro-services. On the other hand, the new application simplifies the operation of the offers.

For the client, modules on tariffs, sales data, a customer database, ticketing, routing and information are provided in the back-end. The contractor is responsible for the smooth commissioning, operation, and maintenance including updates of the software.

Details can be found in the service description, which is still in draft, which is already made available with the participation competition for more detailed information on the subreport award platform. Since the service description is only a draft, we expressly reserve the right to make changes.

The software is to be offered to customers in the 1st half of 2024, if possible. The contract has a term up to and including 31.12.2028, 24:00, whereby wupsi has a unilaterally exercisable extension option of 2x 1 year each, i.e. up to and including 31.12.2030, 24:00, which can be exercised no later than 4 months before the end of the respective contract period.
