Description:
Planner - Renewal of compressor station SLB/BB 1-4 (from LPH 5)

The second biological treatment stage (low-load aeration) in sewage treatment plant 1 of the city of Nuremberg is an essential part of wastewater treatment.

For the generation of air for low-load aeration, 10 Linde compressors (5 Linde compressors each for BB 1 and 2, as well as 5 Linde compressors for BB 3 and 4) and 2 AERZEN rotary lobe blowers (1 compressor each for BB 1 and 2, and 1 compressor for BB 3 and 4) are currently used for aeration tanks 1 to 4 (BB 1 to 4).

With a view to energy optimisation, it is planned that the compressors for BB 1 to 4 will be considered and partly replaced.

For this purpose, work phases 1 to 3 have already been processed by an engineering office and the work has been planned as far as possible (documents are enclosed with the tender).

It is now planned that the project will be continued by the new engineering office from service phase 5 (LPH 5).

According to previous planning, the 10 Linde compressors are to be replaced by 8 new compressors. The new compressors are to be equipped with direct drive and without gearbox, and speed control is also to be carried out via a frequency converter.

The 2 AERZEN rotary lobe blowers will remain in stock.

The following services are to be processed and planned by the contractor:

- Training LPH 1 to LPH 3

- Tendering and procurement of new compressors

- Proper dismantling of the old compressors

- Proper dismantling and dismantling of the old oil supply

- Adaptation of foundation (incl. tiling)

- Ready-to-use installation (incl. commissioning of the new compressors)

- Adaptation of the existing compressed air lines (inlet/outlet/etc.)

The work must take place during the ongoing operation of the sewage treatment plant.

The complete tender documents including the task description, as well as the design planning are attached to the tender. These must be taken into account.
