It is necessary to contract the works of execution of the supply contract in the form of lease without purchase option of sixteen new vehicles fully equipped for the Local Police. For the execution of which the City Council lacks the necessary material and human resources. The Department of the Local Police Department, manages the emergency services, attention and citizen security throughout the municipality, as well as the management of controls, traffic accidents, beach service, notifications and all those of the Local Police bodies, which makes it necessary to move quickly for the attention of the services, as well as for the management of police work itself. The leasing of vehicles is an essential tool for the efficient development of the functions and obligations of the City Council of Sagunto towards citizens. Next March 2024 ends the lease contract of 5 radio patrol vehicles for Local Police Sagunto, and there is a need to continue having these police vehicles, in addition to the necessary increase of other vehicles, due to the recent increase in the workforce, the renewal of an outdated own mobile fleet and to be able to provide an effective service to citizens, and given that this City Council lacks the adequate and sufficient technical means to provide them itself. Therefore, it is considered that the supply of these vehicles is necessary for the development of the functions of the Local Police and suitable according to the characteristics required in the Technical Specifications (hereinafter PPT). The provision object of this contract is due to the exercise of municipal powers. The need and specific characteristics of the contract are defined in the needs report and in the Technical Specifications.

Subtype 1.1: 3 patrol vehicles with fully labeled and distinguished detainee kit. The monthly amount of the lease of each unit of this type of vehicle amounts to 1200 euros plus 252 euros in VAT. Subtype 1.2: 2 patrol vehicles, without fully labeled and distinguished detainee kit. The monthly amount of the lease of each unit of this type of vehicle amounts to 1100 euros plus 231 euros in VAT. Subtype 1.3: 1 compact patrol vehicle, without fully labeled and distinguished detainee kit. The monthly amount of the lease of each unit of this type of vehicle amounts to 800 euros plus 168 euros in VAT. Subtype 1.4: 1 vehicle type All-terrain pick up fully labeled and distinguished, being of medium dimensions, of five seats (having one of them hitch for Trailer with all its approvals, certifications and technical inspections). The monthly amount of the lease of each unit of this type of vehicle amounts to 1300 euros plus 273 euros in VAT. Subtype 1.5: 1 van-type vehicle, patrol car, fully labeled and distinguished, with at least 8 seats, destined for the Operational Unit of the Local Police. The monthly amount of the lease of this type of vehicle amounts to 1450 euros plus 304.50 euros in VAT. Subtype 1.6: 4 Quad/ATV vehicles, patrol boats, fully labeled and distinguished, destined for the Beaches Operational Unit. The monthly amount of the lease of each unit of this type of vehicle amounts to 600 euros plus 126 euros in VAT. Vehicles of Subtypes 1.1 and 1.2 shall be of the same make and model.

Subtype 2.1: 2 passenger vehicles segment C destined for the Headquarters/Management Area of Local Police, unmarked vehicle. The monthly amount of the lease of this type of vehicle amounts to 700 euros plus 147 euros in VAT. Subtype 2.2: 1 five-seater mixed van type vehicle, camouflaged patrol car intended for Local Police Headquarters/Management Area. The monthly amount of the lease of each unit of this type of vehicle amounts to 550 euros plus 115.50 euros in VAT. Subtype 2.3: 1 five-seater mixed van type vehicle, camouflaged patrol car for the Department of Traffic and Urban Mobility. The monthly amount of the lease of each unit of this type of vehicle amounts to 550 euros plus 115.50 euros in VAT.
