A framework agreement is to be drawn up for the DBKT for the printing, production and distribution of the book timetable. The subject of the award procedure is the information brochure published at the time of the timetable change, which is necessary for safe rail operation. These information brochures, known as the so-called book timetable, must be available at different locations on a fixed date in order for the trains to be operated. If these are not available, the trains stop.

These information brochures are produced for 7 regions and distributed to the DB Group's requesting authorities by parcel, letter post or pallet according to address distributors provided. DHL is the default service provider for parcel distribution.

The information brochures are produced in wire-o/spiral binding as well as PUR perfect binding with 1/1-color pages (front and back monochrome black with text and graphics).

The application conditions for the award and additional information (such as the description of services, contract conditions, assistance in filling out the form, the bidder's declaration of self-declaration and confidentiality declaration, etc.) are available to everyone as a download (see section I.3 of the publication).
