The Information Office for Fruit and Vegetables (OFG) would like tenders for 200,000 + a following 100,000 eating utensils for Kiwi.
All Norwegian primary and secondary schools currently have an offer to participate in the subscription scheme School Fruit. The aim of the subscription scheme School Fruit is to stimulate increased intake of fruit and vegetables amongst primary and secondary school pupils, in accordance with the Directorate of Health´s dietary advice. When delivering Kiwi to students, we will also provide a suitable eating utensil for each individual fruit.
The contest is a voluntary announcement on TED and follows part 1.
Requirements for eating utensils:
The eating utensils should be made from an environmentally friendly wood material, such as bamboo or birch
The eating utensil must consist of a knife at one end and a spoon at the other end
The knife must not be too sharp, but must still be able to split a Kiwi
