St Helens Council (‘the Council’) is seeking to procure a supply and fit of tyres and associated services service.

St. Helens Council’s Transport Department is based at Hardshaw Brook Depot, Parr Street, St Helens, WA9 1JR, and has a requirement for the supply and fitting of tyres to its commercial vehicles and plant.

The aim of the contract is to achieve value for money, ensure adequate stock availability and technical support, legislative compliance and to ensure environmentally friendly collection and disposal of used tyres.

The contract requires that the successful provider has an operational base within an 8 mile radius of WA9 1JR.

The Council’s current fleet is in the region of 180 registered vehicles and plant. In the main these vehicles operate within the borough of St Helens, although there are occasional journeys beyond these boundaries.
